Ecosol provides a range of high quality and readily customisable pollution control systems to improve the capture, retention, and collection of pollutants in stormwater flows.

Our systems continue to set an ever-higher standard of pollution capture by the use of patented by-pass overflow technology that eliminates the risk of flooding and prevents remobilisation of captured pollutants.

Ecosol systems are renowned for providing the best value-for-money for the following reasons:

  • High performance;
  • Low whole-of-life costs; and
  • Efficient design for low-cost cleaning and maintenance

Our award-winning and proven technologies can be used to capture pollutants at source and also in-line/end-of-line.

If you are interested in capturing pollutants close to the source of entry (for example, in a car park) then click here to see more on our RSF 100.

If an at-source system is not appropriate, we provide three customisable in-line/end-of-line products to capture a range of pollutants, namely the:

RSF 1000, which is used in-line/end-of-line where there is a drop of 600mm or greater between upstream pipe invert and downstream pipe obvert levels (please click here to find out more);

RSF 4000, which is a versatile, easily customisable system that can be installed in-line/end-of-line on virtually any conduit size and shape and even off-line with the use of a diversion weir (please click here for more); and the

Ecosol Net Tech, an in-line/end-of-line systems that is an easily-installed and very cost-effective targeting larger gross pollutants, click here for more.

If you would like to store and use the valuable rainwater treated by our products then please consider our unique fully-contained RST 7000 Rainwater Storage and Re-use system, that can be installed downstream of our RSF units to provide an integrated water treatment and re-use system.  The RST 7000 allows you to use the treated rainwater for watering gardens, in washing machines and for equipment washdowns.  Click here for more information on this exciting new product.

Ecosol also offers support services to our clients to reduce the risk and headaches involved in selecting, installing, and maintaining a pollution control device. These services include:

Research, Analysis, and Advice

We carefully research and analyse all site-specific factors, such as pit and pipe size, trafficability, pollutant loading, headloss, treatable flow rate, by-pass capacity and advise on the most appropriate type, size, and location of system to best meet your objectives and, importantly, that is within your budget.

If we do not have an immediate answer, we will certainly undertake to find it for you. For example, some GPT providers overlook the importance of designing systems to meet the Treatable Flow Rate (TFR) and focus solely on the size of the catchment area.

This approach can be misleading and often results in a system that appears to meet your needs, and is usually well within your budget, but in reality is grossly undersized and does not improve the environment as the unit is nearly always in by-pass allowing pollutants to discharge untreated to our rivers and seas. You can be sure that any Ecosol unit installed for your project is appropriately sized and will perform fully to its designed specification. Note, if you subscribe to the MUSIC stormwater management planning system, we can provide input values and advice for the  RSF 100, RSF 1000 and RSF 4000.

Planning and System Design

We carefully calculate and specify an appropriately-sized unit specific for each site and prepare structural engineered drawings for each application. We also work closely with clients to help solve any problems that may arise during design, construction, and installation.

Manufacture and Delivery

We oversee the manufacture and supply-to-site of all units in accordance with the agreed specifications and within internationally-accepted OH&S guidelines (Ecosol is fully accredited for quality, environment and OH&S - for more details click here).

Installation

One of the key advantages (see FAQ) of all Ecosol products is that they have been cleverly designed with careful consideration to simple, easy, and cost effective installation and maintenance. They are usually delivered in one piece complete ready for lowering into the excavated site, thereby reducing significantly the contractor's time on-site.

Unlike many other GPT providers, we endeavour, wherever practicable, to be present on-site at all installations to minimise the risk and provide assistance wherever needed, although, for contractual reasons we cannot often provide specific advice on site excavation and unit installation. We do, however, provide a detailed guide to help in the installation process - see here for one of our installation guides

Inspection, Cleaning, and Maintenance

Another key advantage of the Ecosol units is the ease with which they can be cleaned.  Click here to see more on this very important topic.

We offer a quality inspection, cleaning, and maintenance service, at competitive rates, that includes a detailed report after each visit. Please read more about our Asset Management Division services.

Upgrade Program

As the industry changes and evolves so do our units to meet the ever-increasing requirements. We offer a comprehensive program for clients wishing to upgrade their units. This allows you to achieve even better unit performance and reduced ongoing cleaning and maintenance costs. For more information contact us.

Our total solution approach is designed to maximise performance outcomes whilst minimising risks.

If you are unsure about how best to proceed, please contact one of our offices, whilst our FAQ section answers many common questions asked by consulting engineers, councils, and contractors.
